Making Affiliate Sales

While I’m busy launching a funnel for myself as well as launching one for the company where I have a full-time job, both involving physical products, I came to the realization of having to also learn to generate a revenue stream that does not involve selling physical products.

Launching a physical-product funnel requires you to put together an offer stack which can include a mix of physical and information products. However, the different physical products in your offer stack may need to be sourced from different vendors at times, and also the task of choosing to either invest in holding inventory or the less stable but more cost-friendly route of finding vendors with ready stocks at all times which does at times lead to out of stock items and inability to customize your product. So to overcome these obstacles I have decided to also learn about Affiliate Marketing which does not entail these obstacles and restrictions.

I have decided to start with a specific focus on becoming an affiliate for ClickFunnels’ products. I currently have a membership to Funnelflix where there is an extensive course of Affiliate Marketing that I have started. One of the coaches right now is Stephen Larsen who suggeted that income from Affiliate marketing is as a great source for funding your more expensive and expansive long-term projects rather than treating the income as profit and spending it, which makes good sense. Affiliate marketing has become tougher however there are still a lot of pockets and niches you can identify to serve customers for the product you are promoting, and once you get a hang of it and become a consistent affiliate marketer that income is pure profit. I am still on day 2 of the course however this I think was a great take-away from day 1 of the course.

I’m now in the process of identifying niches where Clickfunnels and it’s branching products would be beneficial. A tip for selecting your niche is to see whether that niche is a high-margin sector where it would be easier for those customers to justify investing in a monthly subscription program like Clickfunnels an its products. There are 10 sectors that Clickfunnels has identified which it says is where their products can be most effective and that is where I am starting out from and getting even a layer deeper in each of those sectors to find my ideal niche and customers to serve.
